Cydney T. Teal, MD serves chief medical officer (CMO) at Union Hospital. The hospital's first female CMO, Dr. Teal has been a member of the Union Hospital medical staff for 11 years and will work to strengthen relationships between physicians, the hospital and the community. Dr. Teal is board certified in family practice and internal medicine. She earned her medical degree from the Medical College of Virginia School of Medicine in Richmond, Va., and completed her residency at Alton Ochsner Medical Foundation in New Orleans, La. Dr. Teal is an attending physician at Union Primary Care in Elkton, Maryland., and has been in private practice since 2000.
